I have not been on FB for several years and I am sorry I did not know of Sissy’s passing. What an amazing ray of sunshine Sissy was to us all. As Sissy kept us all giggling with her quick wit, I loved her passion for Christ and her ready ear to hear our troubles versus her own. I know she was welcomed in Heaven with open arms. Our families have known each other for decades. Sissy had a loving wit, comic timing, & effervescent personality! Sissy & my dad had a special bond. They loved each other. I only knew Sissy through Facebook and was always inspired by her. I was so sad to hear this sad news. The only thing I know for sure is she is no longer sick or in pain and is resting comfortably with our Father in heaven. To her family, honor her memory by remaining strong in the Lord for "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psa 46:1-2

I'm so sad I'm too sick to attend your funeral service today. You understood sickness all too well so I know you'll forgive me . I loved being cousin, in spite of your illness we had some great conversations on the fone, your personality was so bubbly and we knew what could say about certain things and folks. One never knows when the last time will be the last time one speaks to another, I knew that Richards and Moose s birthdays were in April and I just happen to get it right and talked to u. So thankful u and Richard have such lovely christain kids they truly know what one can do thru such suffering u all did a super job. I know will never meet these kids but grandma would be soooo proud of u all. I love you Richard as you know my family is all gone I still want cling to the cousins they I love and care about and the know who they are ( the Belle Isle s ) don't keep up with me. Sissy was that girl everyone envied….pretty, funny, vivacious, and had excellent fashion sense......I always enjoyed FaceBooking her about clothes we wore back in the 70's and 80's..... and the music. Her spirit and faith were amazing. I am a better person for knowing her. She's got her mansion in Heaven now.

Sweet angel. Sweet smile. Sweet Sissy. We were friends in high school. She was younger and like a little sister. You could be down and see that smile and it made you forget your worries. We reconnected years ago through Facebook and exchanged many chats, calls, cards. Sometimes we would both be awake at odd hours and giggle together. She never lost that smile or her quick wit through all of her trials and she never stopped thinking of others. She was truly loved by everyone that knew her. I will miss you, MissiSissy!

I do believe Sissy was the funniest person I have ever met. Her stories kept me in stitches. I loved hearing her heart in so may times we would visit each other. The best neighbor I ever had. She loved her Richard and her three children and Children in love by marriage. To know her was to love her. I am and will continue to lift up this precious family as the mourn the loss of such a precious woman of God. She is pain free now and I have no doubt gathering around some of the saints of old telling more stories. We will see you again Sissy. Thank you for your life here. My heart goes out to y’all and my prayers. Sissy and I grew up together and I have so many memories of her and how she always could make me laugh. Though we have not seen each other in our adult lives she sill had the power to touch my heart. Thanks to FB we were able to reconnect. Heaven is a much better place . I know my Dad was happy to welcome her at the golden gates. He love him some Sissy. We all did. Sissy will be dearly miss you but I know she will on the welcoming party at the golden gates.
