Kara Primes Goff, 42 years young, of Madison, Mississippi, passed away on January 17, 2024, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
Kara was born on June 18, 1981, to Donald and Shirley Taylor Primes in Covington, Louisiana. She attended Covington High School and graduated from Poplarville High School. Kara attended Pearl River Community College where she played basketball for 2 years after earning a basketball scholarship. Kara later enrolled at the University Of Southern Mississippi where she earned both her bachelor's and master’s degrees. On June 7, 2002, Kara married the love of her life, Bengie Goff, and together they had a son, Benjamin.
Kara loved to listen to music, watch movies, traveling whenever possible, dancing to her father’s favorite songs, and serving the community by volunteering or doing acts of kindness for others. While her primary focus was her family, Kara took pride in being the best mother possible to her son Benjamin. Throughout Kara’s lifetime, she spent countless hours Being a mentor, selflessly helping others, and providing support to any one in need. Kara will be remembered most by her smile, her laugh that would light up a room, and both her inner/outer beauty. Kara has left a lifetime of lasting impressions to so many lives that will be changed forever, including all of her family, friends, loved ones, and many others she crossed paths with in life.
Kara is survived by her husband of 21 years, Bengie Goff; her son, Benjamin Goff; her mother Shirley Taylor Primes; her sister, Melissa Primes Dottolo married to Stephen (Stephen Jr.), her brother, Donald L. Primes, Jr. married to Denise Kron (Jacqueline), her twin brother, Kyle Taylor Primes with his partner Dylan, and her brother Chad Primes (Scarlett and Chad Jr.). Kara was preceded in death by her father, Donald L. Primes, Sr.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 22, 2024, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm at Madison Methodist Church with a service at 12:30pm. Interment will follow at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery in Madison.
