I will always have a special place in my heart for Terry Black. He was my sidekick for many years while working together at Advantage Business Systems back in the 80’s and 90’s. We delivered and installed the very first commercial fax machines all over the state of Mississippi. ABS was truly like family and I will always treasure the wonderful memories!

Terry was my work buddy. We talked almost daily, especially after Covid and during this Cancer journey. His favorite things were John, Joey and “the girls”. Those girls were Ellen, Danielle, Lawrence, Lucy and Lily. He loved them all dearly and was so proud of everything John and Joey did. He was also famous for his Code Red Mountain Dew, pack of crackers and Advil(the first one is free-it’s what he always said). He would pace the floors at ABS waiting for trucks to unload and see if his equipment had come in. He wanted to make sure his customers were taken care of. For those customers that I will handle, I hope I am able to live up to Terry’s standard. I will do my best! Rest in peace my friend.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Terry's passing.
I well remember when he came to work for ABS - John was just a baby. He could sometimes be a bit ornery (oh could he roll those eyes), but he was always a big part of the ABS family.
My heart goes out to his boys and to Jan.
