Thomas Larry Holder Madison, MS Thomas Larry Holder, age 76, passed away on November 13, 2023. Larry was born in Durant, MS on July 6, 1947 and was the son of James Buford and Delma Simms Holder. Larry served in the US Army National Guard and retired from Bell South. His hobbies included visiting with family and friends, watching LSU sports and driving his '57 Chevy. Larry is survived by his wife of 28 years, Becky Holder; daughter, Holly Smith (Matthew) of Oxford, MS; sons, Tony Holder (Misty) of Kosciusko, MS, Donnie Holder (Michele) of Lexington, MS, Adam Holder, Starkville, MS; grandchildren, Brantley Greer (Shane), James Caleb Holder, Carrlee Holder, Steven Thomas Holder, JoAnna Smith, Camille Smith and Ava Ruth Smith; honorary grandchildren, Will Cannady and Banks Cannady; brother, Jim Holder of Conyers, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Buford and Delma Holder and daughter JoAnna Smithhart. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held Thursday at Old Rice Road Baptist Church, 82 Old Rice Rd., Madison, MS 39110 on November 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Old Rice Road Baptist Church, 82 Old Rice Rd., Madison, MS 39110.
