John L. Allegrezza, age 90, was born June 7, 1933, and was the son of Henry and Mary Eusepi Allegrezza and was a native of Bolivar County. John graduated from Shaw High School and joined the US Army. After serving his country, he returned to Jackson, MS and in 1960 he started a moving company. In 1981 John founded Allegrezza Piano Company in Ridgeland, Mississippi. John continued to work at his business until July 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joyce Allegrezza, brother, Eugene Allegrezza and sister, Theresa Allegrezza Noble. John is survived by his daughters, Becky Killelea (Bob), Sandra Bethea (Jimmy), and Nina Lynch (Richard); grandchildren, Michael Killelea, Laura Killelea (Jill), Paul Killelea, Pam St. Clair (Paul), John David Bethea (Jennifer), Lindsay Bethea Bainbridge (Chad), James F. Barker, III (Callie), Alan Barker (Gina), Clay Lynch, and Matt Lynch; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Allegrezza (Linda) and Cecil Allegrezza (Lynn); and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday August 17, 2023, at Natchez Trace Funeral Home from 10:00am -11:00am with the funeral service to follow at 11:00am. Burial will be in Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would like to thank Robin Bounds, RN and John Anderson, CNA, along with the others at Hospice Ministries for their care and compassion during this time. They would also like to thank Gerald Williams and Donald Ray Turnage for the constant care they have provided in these last days.
