Sue S. Schneider Ridgeland, MS Sue S. Schneider, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home with her daughter by her side on July 10, 2023. She was born on November 8, 1943, to Elliot and Mildred Sanborn in New York. Sue is survived by her daughter, Anna Blaylock of Ridgeland, MS; son, David (Adriana) Schneider of Metairie, LA; sister, Harriet Reynolds of Metairie, LA; brother, Melvin Sanborn of Silver Spring, MD; Four grandchildren, Bennett Blaylock, Ethan Blaylock, Darcy Schneider, Ian Schneider; and great-nephew, Jerad Reardon. She is preceded in passing by her parents, Elliot and Mildred Sanborn, and niece Sara Reynolds. After 50 plus years as a resident of Terrytown, La., she spent the last 2 1/2 years in Ridgeland, Ms. Sue spent most of her life on the softball field or volleyball court. She played and was a long-time coach at Terrytown Gym. She enjoyed traveling, reading, puzzles and listening to music on her jukebox. She loved a good garage sale and thrift store. For many years, in various places, she resold her finds. Visitation will be Friday, July 14, 2023 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. A funeral service celebrating her life will be at 10:00am in the chapel with an interment to follow in Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery.
