Larry D. Keys Jackson, MS Larry passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson at the age of 69 with his wife and brother by his side. Denon (Larry) was born in Gary, Indiana on November 6, 1953 to Plummer Denon and Joy Beasley Keys. He graduated from Hillcrest Christian Academy and attended Hinds Community College. He was a surveyor for the State of Mississippi and the city of Jackson for over 30 years. In recent years, he was employed as a bail bondsman and operated an ATM business. His hobbies were watching football, basketball and NASCAR racing, having been to Talladega numerous times. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Denon and Joy Keys; brother, Wayne Keys; and sister, Donna Loper. He is survived by his wife, Pam; brother, John Keys of Madison; god-daughter, Jillian Jones (David); god-grandson Andrew; niece, Nikki Loper; nephew, David Loper and a host of cousins. There will be a celebration of Larry's life held at Char Restaurant on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 5pm - 7pm. All relatives and friends are invited to attend. Casual dress is requested.
