Jeannine Burnham Walters, 87, of Madison, passed away on February 13, 2023, in Brandon, MS. Jeannine is survived by her Sisters, Bonny Tigrett (Waymon) & Sylvia Burnham; her Sister in Law, Linda Burnham, along with many Nieces & Nephews and Grand Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by Husband, Daniel Warren Walters; Sons, David Burnham Walters and Robert Daniel Walters; Father, Auburn Burnham; Mother, Elsie Odell Burnham and Brother, Billy Ray Burnham. Jeannine retired from the State of MS after working 39 years as a comptroller. She and Dan were founding members of Ridgecrest Baptist Church (1962). Jeannine loved spending time and being very active in many facets of the church, especially the choir. She was an active member of the choir for over 60 years!!! She also assisted with the children’s choir, mission trips and the Sr adult group (Keenagers) to just name a few. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, Feb 17, 2023, at 11:00am at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, Madison, MS, with a visitation prior at the church from 9:00am to 11:00am. A private Interment has been requested by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church, Music Ministry Fund, 7469 Old Canton Road, Madison, Mississippi 39110 or the charity of your choice.
