Pat Muller was such a very special lady. Having been the secretary for Bob Muller for a number of years, I got to know their lovely family. Mr. Muller was very much a family man. I remember a confrontation that he had with his boss about refusing to travel on Mother’s Day. When asked where his mother lived, his reply, “I’m talking about my wife, the mother of my children. I am going to spend Mother’s Day with her and our children as I always do.” And he did. Pat was a very gracious hostess and a great cook. I have a recipe she shared with me that I call “Pat Muller’s Mexican Dip,” and I make it frequently. She’d always send something delicious to the plant when we had our department potluck lunches. For several years, I enjoyed playing bunco with her and daughters, Carolyn and Cindy. She leaves many special memories with all of her friends.
