Joy Dixon Payne, daughter of James L. Dixon, Sr. and Eliza Lois Hood Dixon, was born January 25, 1953 and was a native of Benton, MS. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Tony Payne; daughter, Lindsay Rose Stuart (Danny); grandchildren, Taylor Reece Stuart and Reagan Lane Stuart; and brother, James Dixon, Jr. and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Joy is preceded in death by her sisters, Nancy White and Ann Dunn.. Visitation will be Wednesday October 26, 2022 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Parkview Church of God in Yazoo City with the funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. Interment will be next to her parents in Glenwood Cemetery, Yazoo City, MS. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to St. Jude.
