Please share a memory of Bryan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mr. Bryan Holt Applewhite, age 60, passed away at home with his loving wife, June, by his side on the morning of March 14, 2022, after a long battle with brain cancer. Dr. Mason Joy will officiate the service and celebration of life.
Bryan was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Victor Applewhite, Sr. and Nadine Shoemaker Applewhite of Ellisville, Mississippi.
He is survived by his wife, June Boleware Applewhite of Madison, Mississippi; son, Christopher Applewhite (Kalin Zeringue) of New Orleans, Louisiana; daughter, Heather Applewhite Mears (Nicklaus Mears) of Dublin, Ohio; granddaughter, Lillian Mears of Dublin, Ohio; brothers, Dr. Victor Applewhite, Jr. (Mena Applewhite) of Oxford, Mississippi, and Ron Applewhite (Melissa Applewhite) of Flowood, Mississippi; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Bryan was born on July 11, 1961, in Laurel, Mississippi. He was CFO of First South Farm Credit for 22 of his 36 years as a CPA, working hard to provide for his family and chase his dreams. Some of his many passions in life included golf, traveling, photography, genealogy, and his beloved Ole Miss Rebels. He was happiest when sharing those passions with his family, especially his granddaughter, Lily, cherishing every moment. We hope to carry on the joy and love he so openly showed every day by continuing the many traditions he passed down and the adventures he shared with us. Please help us celebrate his life by wearing a little something red or blue to his visitation and service.
While flowers are welcome and appreciated, Bryan’s family has asked donations be made to unicefusa.org, braintumor.org, or abta.org to save children’s lives and help the fight against brain cancer.
