Kathryn “Patsy” Patricia East was born on August 17,1934 and went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents Michael Dennis Kirby and Genevieve Cavanaugh Kirby, husband Ray East, and son Greg East. Patsy was the secretary for the elementary school in Pearl for many years, then worked for the Secretary of State office until her retirement. Patsy was a devout Catholic and attended mass every Sunday. She enjoyed volunteering for her church. Her hobbies were growing roses, and caring for people in need. She was loved by her family and while soft-spoken, had loud words of wisdom. Anyone that knew her loved her grace and wonderful sense of humor. She was proud of every member of her family and was the favorite aunt of many nieces and nephews. Patsy is survived by her children, Ray “Chip” East, Barry (May) East, and Kathy (Mark) Warren, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 4, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi in Madison, MS., with the interment to follow at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery in Madison, MS.
