Vincent Wayne Graef, III ( Trey), age 43, born May 30, 1978, has taken a journey to his next life. Trey left this world unexpectedly on 8-17-2021 at St. Dominic Hospital. Generous to a fault, loved hard, played hard, never met a stranger and had an infectious smile, Trey will be missed. A graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School in 1996, he started his career with Chick-Fil-A at age 15 and worked with them for 7 years. Diverting from the food/restaurant business, Trey worked with Enterprise Rental and moved to New Orleans to work with Woodforest National Bank. He returned to Jackson 7 years ago also returning to the food/ restaurant business with Fresh Cut Events and Catering. One of Trey’s dreams was to travel to Thailand and he made that dream come true in 2017, one of the highlights of his life. He was preceded in death by his father Vincent Wayne Graef, Jr. and his brother Kevin Vincent Graef. He is survived by his mother Connie Bailey Graef, sister Lauren Graef Messina (Dustin) and half sister Karen Graef Luckett (Ricky), several nieces and nephew and his beloved nephew ‘Joe’, also his aunt Sandra Graef Cook (Jerry) and Pamela Graef Luckett (Mike) and many cousins. He is also survived by his special four-legged girls Tink, Graci, and Rizzi whom he was always devoted to. Trey had a special love for animals of all kinds.
