Obituary of Bobby Gerald Cochran, Sr.
~Bobby Gerald Cochran, Sr. 76, a Madison resident for the past 14 years, passed away on November 20, 2017 his residence while surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on February 7, 1941 to Lester and Allie Brown Cochran in Montgomery, AL where he lived until graduation from Robert E. Lee High School. He entered the Air Force National Guard and served when called during the Berlin Conflict. He earned his Bachelor Degree from Auburn University and worked as a Pharmacist until he retired from CVS. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved Auburn University.
Mr. Cochran is survived by his loving spouse of 55 years, Cindy Cochran, children, Karen McBride (John) of Jackson, Son, Bobby Cochran, Jr. (Gail) of Atlanta and Julie Lollar of Ridgeland; Seven Grandchildren, Jack McBride, Thomas McBride, Ben McBride, Daniel Cochran, Andrew Cochran, Lily Lollar and Noel Lollar; Great Grandchild, Phoenix Lollar and a Brother, Doyle Wesley Cochran (Mary Alice) of Montgomery, AL.
Mr. Cochran was preceded in death by Father, Lester Julian Cochran, Mother, Allie Lucille Cochran and Sister, Betty Garrett.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 24, 2017, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church, Ridgeland, MS and the funeral service celebrating his life will be 11:00am Saturday November 25, 2017 at the church. Interment will be in the Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery.
