Obituary of James Braswell Burnside

~James Braswell Burnside, 65, died Monday, October 30, 2017 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. 
 
A native of Leake County, Mr. Burnside was a skilled concrete contractor in the Jackson Metro area for many years. He enjoyed gunsmithing and gave to anyone in need.
 
James is survived by his daughter, Kristy Rinewalt (Chad); sons, Michael Burnside (Stacey) and Bryan Burnside (Lea Anna); the children's mother, Donna Burnside; grandchildren, Victoria Ashley, Bailey Burnside, Cody Rinewalt, Miller Burnside, Amber Rinewalt, Jansen Burnside and Tice Burnside; great grandchild, Ainsley Burnside; sisters, Mattie Gertrude Williamson, Louise Ertzberger, Virginia Wiggins, Tressie Vowell and Rose Pritchard; and brothers, Frank Burnside and Charlie Burnside.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Presley Groves Burnside and Alma Leu McCann Burnside along with 17 siblings.
 
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison and again one hour prior to the 11:00am chapel service on Friday, November 3, 2017. A graveside service will follow at 2:00pm in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Carthage.
