Judy Elrita Dauenhauer went home to be with Jesus on December 8, 2020 at age 76.
Judy was born to Blanche Ballew and Walter Burchfield on September 14, 1944 in Ringgold, GA. As a young person, she enjoyed being on the cheerleading squad and being Homecoming Queen at East Ridge High School, in East Ridge Tennessee.
Judy met her husband in 1972 in Chattanooga, TN. They married March 26th 1973 and Judy had 3 children, from a previous marriage, Gregg (Debbie), Todd (Toni), and Stacey (Stephanie). In addition to her abundance of love for her husband of 47 years, her 3 children, she also has 8 grandchildren that are "MeMe/Grammy's" whole world: Taylor, Jarrod, Brendon, Audrey, Evan, Asia, Josh, and Stevie.
In addition to being a dedicated wife and loving mother, Judy also loved her nightly devotion time, hunting for just the right gifts for her friends and family, and visiting with dearly loved neighbors. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God and Jesus, which she would share his word with all she came in contact with. She was also an unwavering prayer warrior for anyone in need, even if she didn't know them personally.
Judy joins her mother and father in Heaven along with many other loved and missed family members and friends. She is survived by her husband, Errol Dauenhauer ("Mr. D"); sister, Barbara Kindred (Larry); brother, Larry Delbrugge (Reba); sister-in-law, Carolyn "Kip" Dauenhauer; brother-in-law, Oscar (Eleanor) Dauenhauer, all of her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
