Obituary of Robbie Graves
~Robbie Graves, age 59, passed away on April 19, 2017 while being cared for at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was born in Jackson, MS on September 21, 1957 to James Graves and Geraldine Graves. Robbie has been a resident of Raymond for the past 14 years and was the owner of Robbie Graves Realty and Appraisals for many years, even teaching appraisal courses at Hinds Community College. He was currently employed as a Code Enforcer for the Pearl River Valley Water District.
Robbie is survived by his wife of 37 years, Tammy Harvill Graves; daughters, Jennifer Peusch (Anthony) of Brandon and Emily McGuffee (Blake) of Brandon; parents, James Graves of Jackson and Geraldine Graves of Clinton; sister, Theresa Toufectis of Washington, DC; brothers, Michael Graves of Arkansas, Kenny Graves of Jackson and Danny Graves of Jackson; grandchildren, Addison Lynn Peusch and Caleb Reed McGuffee; as well as, a host of extended family and friends. Robbie was a longtime member and Deacon of Oak Forest Baptist Church in Jackson and also served his community through various clubs and civic organizations.
Robbie is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sophia Love McGuffee; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ed and Shirley Harvill and a niece, Jessica Graves.
Robbie will always be missed by so many friends. He was always the life of the party, a man of many words facing life's challenges with courage and faith in God. Robbie was a selfless man and because of his gift, two individuals will regain their eye sight.

Visitation will be Friday April 21, 2017 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm and again 1 hour prior to the 11:00am chapel service on Saturday at Natchez Trace Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Natchez Trace Memorial Park.
