Even though I didn't know Britt that well, I felt like I've known him all my life. My husband Parker has never talked about his childhood without including a memory of he and Britt and Mr. Slim. I know without a doubt that Britt and Parker and Slim made memories of hunting and fishing at Lake Mary that they would never divulge to anyone else but all of them have chuckled about.
I thank the Elmore family for being such a special part of Parker's life. I know one day that Parker and Britt and Slim will get to catch up and I would guess that they all will have heaven's attention while telling their fish stories.
