Mary T. Brown, (92), was born to Joseph and Margaret Sallaway in Boston, MA. She was the elder sister to Edward and Joseph Jr. While working as a Bell Telephone operator in Cape Cod, she met Herbert C. Brown whom she married in 1955. During her 20 year marriage to Herb, she was busy as an Air Force wife and a homemaker. After losing her husband in 1975, Mary worked at Holy Family Catholic School and St. Dominic Memorial Hospital while raising her large family. Additionally, she loved bowling, dancing, reading, gardening, and volunteering. Mary is fondly remembered for her huge heart, patience, sense of humor, and fiesty spirit. Left to mourn Mary's passing are her children: David (Santa Rosa, FL), Michael (Pocahontas, MS), Steven (Austin, TX), Karen Muniz (Coral Springs, FL), Donna B. Cook (Brandon, MS), Lisa B. Flood (Hunter) (Brandon, MS), and Robert (Ann) (Pearl, MS); 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, and close friends.
