I am sorry for your loss. My husband, Ed, and Vernon served together in the Korean War and were schoolmates at Copiah Lincoln Community College and have remained friends. Vernon and I were cousins. We loved your Mother and Dad and have many good memories of them. My husband passed away in November, 2019, so I understand your grief. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Tullos family - our deepest condolences at this time of loss. My husband James and I were houseboat neighbors with Verrnon and Sybil on A Pier They were both such fabulous people. Your mother had a level of self determination that was impressive. One time she was having a few friends to the pier for a party. She was carrying a large cooler of soft drinks to the end of the pier. My husband tried to help her and she assured him that should was strong enough to manage it. Her age was just a number that did not define her. After she broke her hip one of her children told her that she should not wash the boat anymore. She continued to wash the boat with one eye on the gate in case one of her kids came by! I loved listening to her and your Dad tell stories about their adventures on the Farm. There are several that come to my mind today. All of them crack me up! They were special people.
We will be keeping you all in our prayers.
