Mary Sue Minninger, 78, passed away peacefully Friday, December 20, 2019 at Highland Home in Ridgeland. Born in Crystal Springs, Mrs. Minninger was a long-time resident of Gluckstadt, MS. She is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Minninger, her mother, Gladys Barlow Young, her father, Floyd Young, her sister, Jean McClure, her brothers Herbert Young and David Hannah, and a grandson, Isaac Taylor. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Taylor (Fred) of Florence, MS, and Tonya Minninger, of Gluckstadt, her step-son Kerry (Pam), of Gluckstadt, step-daughters Claudia Houpt (Mike) of Gluckstadt, and Maria Graham (Ken) of Madison. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Heidi Anderson, Cole Mitchell (Taylor), Cameron Minninger (Susan Katherine), Elizabeth Minninger-Noble (Brad), Michael Houpt (Kim), Amanda Cook (Chris), Kris Graham (Mona), Jessica Martinez (Jeff), Kristen Berry (Donald), and Abby Taylor; as well as 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving her is her sister Ann Whitney and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Gluckstadt.
