So very sorry to learn of the tragic accident and loss of your Jared.
I wish to share comfort from the Bible at this sad time.
The Bible offers hope for those who have lost loved ones in death. "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) Soon death will be a thing of the past, and the pain that it causes us now, will be removed. Those who have fallen asleep in death will be brought back to life and have the prospect of living forever in paradise on earth. I don't know Jared, however, I know Adrian and Anthony Morrison, his cousins. Adrian and Anthony's hearts are broken, therefore, my heart is broken, too. After reading all about Jared and the life he lead, I am saddened and, literally depressed, that such a wonderful man had his life cut short. My thoughts go out to his entire family. Jared was and will always be a treasure.

I am so sorry for your loss. I always felt like Jared was one of my own kids. I am so glad that I had the chance to get to know him and hang out with him. He became a part of my family while at State when he became friends with all my other kids. Your family is forever in my prayers. I wanted to be there for the funeral, but wasnt able to make the trip from Nashville to be there.

I regret that we drifted apart after my daughter was born, but Jared helped shape my life maybe more than he knew. When we first met and started riding bikes together, we would go out all hours of the night, he pushed me and I pushed him. All this at a time that was particularly rough for me, he became a close friend who I could talk to about anything. He tried to get me into wakebording even though it just wasn't for me lol and even helped shape my musical abilities by playing drums with me before I had learned to keep time with a group. I think back and I do not have one single bad memory that involved him. He was a great friend and I only wish everyone had the opportunity to meet him.
