Obituary of Steven Head

Mr. Steven was born on November 03, 1961 to James Edward & Winnie Head in Morgan City, LA. He grew up in Morgan City where he attended and graduated from Morgan City High School. He went on to receive an Associate’s Degree along with completing additional courses in Computer Forensics. These skills would open doors for him, and provide a future for him and his family. Steven was the owner of Head Technology Group, Inc. and owned several businesses in the technology industry for 29 years. His knowledge and expertise impacted numerous businesses and other technology experts including the FBI. Mr. Head also was very passionate about his faith and his love for Jesus Christ. Steven was such a warrior for Christ that he would share the love of Jesus to anyone and everyone he met. Steven ministered and pastored several churches throughout the years, and his heart burned for awakening and revival. Steven enjoyed leading a Men’s Bible Study group for many years recently as well. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and golfing. He enjoyed grilling, and some would say, “very few men could grill a steak like Steven.” More than anything else his greatest joy in life was raising his children with wonderful wife Cindy. Steven held many titles in life such as; business owner, encourager, mentor, husband, brother, and friend. The greatest title he ever held was dad.

Steven is preceded in passing by his father, James Edward Head, and one son, Daniel Head.

Steven is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Cindy Head of Madison, MS.,  his mother Winnie Head, 3 daughters, Kelley Head of Madison, MS., Cara Head of Madison, MS, and Olivia Head of Madison, MS., 4 sons, Wesley Head and his wife Annie of Canton, MS., Dalton Head of Madison, MS., David Head of Madison, MS, and Joseph Head of Madison, MS., Mother Winnie Head of Ringgold, GA, 1 brother, Kary Head and his wife Lisa of Ringgold, GA., 4 grandchildren, Caleb, Lexie, Walker and Levi Head, 1 nephew & niece, Josh & Jen Head of Ringgold, GA.
