Obituary of Vardaman Kim Smith

Vardaman Kimball (Kim) Smith Jr.  

Madison, MS 

Kim Smith 86, of Madison, MS died on October 13, 2018. Visitation will be Monday, October 15, 2018, from 10 – 11 am at Natchez Trace Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow in the Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery. 

He was born to the late Vardaman & Rosalie Smith in Lexington, MS on December 17, 1931. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was deeply involved in the city of Madison as well as the county. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Vardaman Kimball Smith Sr., his mother, Rosalie Lowe Smith, and son, Baby Boy Smith. 

He is survived by his wife, Myra Fisher Smith, a daughter, Leslie Smith McGinnis and her husband Kelly of Brandon, MS., a son, Vardaman Kimball (Vick) Smith and his wife Jennifer of Pass Christian, MS, a sister, Martha Ann O'Hara of Roxboro, NC, a brother, John Lowe Smith of Brandon, MS, three grandchildren, Michael McGinnis, Sarah Kelly McGinnis, and Blair Smith, and a number of nieces and nephews. 

In Lieu of Flowers, the family wishes all donations be made to Madison United Methodist Church at 100 Post Oak Rd,
