Sheila R. Dick, 77, of Madison, passed away on June 17, 2018 at St. Catherine's Village with her husband and daughter present.

Mrs. Sheila was born on January 2, 1941 to Marvin and Virginia Rose Farley Kegley in Sandy Hook, Kentucky and was raised in Portsmouth, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education and was a phenomenal teacher who was also very good with special needs children. She retired from teaching in Kentucky and later substitute taught while here in Mississippi. Sheila was a very strong Christian woman and was very active in her Florida Bible Study Club. She was also very artistic and liked to paint. She found a niche in interior decorating, providing her touches to the family construction business. She was an avid reader, enjoyed flowers and making flower arrangements.

Sheila and Charles were married and lived in Frankfort, Kentucky for a number of years then moved to northern Virginia where Sheila taught school and Charles worked for the U.S. Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. They later moved to the Jackson, Mississippi area for a number of years before moving to Orlando, Florida where they worked and retired. The family continued their retirement in Florida until 2016 when they moved back to Madison, Mississippi.

Sheila is survived by loving spouse, Charles Dick of Madison; daughter, Lisa Fuller Koch and her husband Christian Koch of Madison; brother, Farrell Whitt of Tennessee; and two granddaughters, Catherine Fuller and Camille Fuller of Madison.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin C. Kegley and mother, Virginia Rose Farley Kegley.

A memorial gathering will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home on Friday June 22, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Interment will be at a later time.
