Obituary of Mary McIntyre Price

Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mary McIntyre Price born on 7/20/1954 went peacefully to her heavenly home on 9/9/2024. Mary was born and raised in Brookhaven, Mississippi (which was always “home” to her) where she graduated from Brookhaven High School then earned her Bachelor's in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi. Mary spent most of her adult life in the Raleigh, NC area and had a successful career originally as a nurse, and then managing teams and bringing innovative treatments to patients. She spent decades in the Clinical Research and Pharmaceutical Industries and traveled the world through her professional work. Mary was predeceased by her parents Donald O. McIntyre and Mary Frances Blankenship McIntyre, her sister Linda Malone, her husband John Price and her precious daughter, Holly Price. Mary was a devoted and incredibly loyal mother, wife, friend, and colleague, and was a true Southern Lady who fought a long and courageous cancer battle with grace. She had a feisty, can-do attitude and never complained! Her laugh, smile, and beautiful style will remain forever in the hearts of everyone who knew her! A private burial will be held at the Jessamine Cemetery in Ridgeland Mississippi and there will be a celebration of Mary’s life in Brookhaven, Mississippi at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a tax-deductible donation to the Tammy Lynn Center, a charity that is very special to Mary, Holly and her family. Details: The TLC- Tammy Lynn Center, 739 Chappell Drive Raleigh, NC 27606 or online at: https://www.nctlc.org/
