Buck Gutherie was one of the kindest, sweetest, gentle, thoughtful , generous men and the list could go on and on. Having grown up with his daughter he was always so kind to us “ silly girls”. He was also the best husband and father, loved them fiercely. In latter years, how he cared for his wife with her health failing and he did it with such love, grace and patience. I could go on and on as I said, but the main thing I want to say is what a good man he was and how much he loved his Lord and Savior. He was a true servant of God and it showed in his daily walk and actions. He was a true man of God and I know that god said, well done my good and faithful servant. Rest in Peace , you have earned your crown of jewels. You were a jewel.
