Obituary of Martha Jean Waldrup

Martha Jean Waldrup 93, passed away on August 2, 2024. at the Nichols Center surrounded by family. Jean was born to Luther and Velma Waldrup on January 31, 1931. She was a lifelong resident of Madison, MS where she graduated from Madison-Ridgeland High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Madison. Jean was beloved by so many and will be deeply missed. She was always concerned for others and the Hub of the family.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Velma Waldrup, sisters Boots Whittington and Nell Waldrup and brother Ed Waldrup. Survivors include brother Luther Waldrup, sisters Fran McDonald, Sue Varner, Barbara Wann and Linda Adcock and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 1:00pm-2:00pm with service at 2:00pm. Interment will be in the Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers: Steve Waldrup, Sam Waldrup, Ashley Green, Corgan Green, Austin Adcock, Eric Palmer, Matthew Palmer, James Tate.
