Peggy A. Ainsworth Florence, MS Peggy Ann Ainsworth of Florence, Mississippi, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 27, 2024, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She was born May 12, 1954 in Jackson, Mississippi to William Lucien Stanley and Shirley Ann Stanley. Peggy is survived by her husband of 34 years, Mike Ainsworth, and cherished by her five children, Tina Howard and her husband Shane of Richland, MS, Scott Harpman Jr. and his wife Liza Jayne of Florence, MS, Dana Peoples and her husband Robbie of Pearl, MS, Melissa Walters and her husband Jonathan of Florence, MS, and Amy Blackmon and her husband Forrest of Pelahatchie, MS, as well as nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Peggy was the eldest of eight siblings: John Stanley and his wife Nancey of Braxton, MS, Marlene Valentine and her late husband Pat of Florence, MS, Darlene Steadham and her husband Earnie of Florence, MS, Patrick Stanley and his wife Lisa of Richland, MS, and preceded in death by Jeanette Sarrett of Byram, MS, Micheal Stanley of Florence, MS, and Thomas Stanley of Florence, MS. Peggy loved spending quality time with her friends and family. She enjoyed keeping the roads hot: from shopping trips, movie theaters, and day trips to traveling on vacations with her children and siblings. She enjoyed family movies, Candy Crush, and laughing most of all. Her fiery spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will truly be missed. The family will receive friends and extended family for visitation from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m.
