Katherine Suzanne Chew (Bullock), a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died Monday, June 3rd surrounded by family, due to complications from dementia. Born in southern Indiana, Sue (or Susie), as her family and friends called her, and her family moved to Mississippi in 1975 after years of traveling as a military family. In 1998, her first husband Donald passed away after 41 years of marriage. In 2006, she married Rex Bullock until his passing in 2021. Sue is survived by her children, Michael (Molly) Chew and Deborah Chew, as well as her grandchildren Stephen (Katie) Chew, David (Christina) Chew, Ellen Chew, and Maggie Ely, and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Marc Ely. Visitation for the public will be on Thursday June 6, 2024, at Natchez Trace Funeral Home from 2:00pm until 3:00pm with a graveside service for family only at Parkway Cemetery in Ridgeland at 3:30pm.
