Alton Wayne England, age 91, died April 27, 2024, at his home in Clinton. Visitation will be May 2, 2024, from 10:00am until 10:30am at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison with a graveside service to follow at 11:00am in Jessamine Cemetery in Ridgeland, MS.
Mr. England was born in Hope, Arkansas on November 29, 1932 and was the son of the late Sam Roy England and the late Lucille Putman England.
He is survived by his son, Charles "Chuck" England, brother, Dean England, and son-in-law, Kenny Auttonberry.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Shorter England and her daughters, Charlotte Ann Shorter, Janice Shorter Magee, and Denise Shorter Auttonberry.
