I met Mrs. Mary - with an "e" on the end! - when I worked at Ridgeland Place Assisted Living. Mrs. Mary was full of life and herself! She always had the biggest smile on her face and shared her love of people and love for the Lord every day with everyone. She was one of our Ladies Red Hatters and Ambassadors and rarely had a bad day. We went through the pandemic and she continuously kept her spirits up - as well as everyone else. She was a spiritual force and never met a stranger, particularly when someone new moved in! She always told a new neighbor: "I didn't come here to die - I came here to LIVE!" and she lived every day full on and with a joyful heart. I will always have fond memories of her!
